"Get to know Jesus" -prayer & baptism excerpt originally at: https://lohchurch.org/get-to-know-jesus/

More information below:

"WATER BAPTISM
Now that you have prayed to know Jesus personally, the Bible teaches the next step in our walk with God is called water baptism. Water baptism is a biblical ordinance given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. The word “baptism” comes from the Greek word BAPTIZO which means to plunge into or submerge. It’s an action that means to be totally submerged in water. Baptism isn’t what saves us, but rather it’s an outward expression showing that our old life has been buried with Christ as we are submerged in the water. As we come up from the water, we show that we are raised with Him into a new life. Baptism expresses outwardly what we have received within and is therefore a defining moment in our faith."

More important information below:

NOW REJOICE  thank Jesus for all he has done and now as a NEW believer ask the Lord to lead you to a church to guide you on your path and help get you baptized.

First off, we need to pray and ask God to address our souls & hearts  and ask the Lord Jesus  to lead us .

"The good news is that Jesus made a way for us to be saved. He accomplished this 2,000 years ago when He was born in a humble manger, lived a sinless life, and then died a sinner’s death on the cross in our place. His innocent shed blood washed us clean in God’s eyes. Jesus was resurrected so that now, through faith, we can also be resurrected to a new life and therefore become a whole new creation! (See 2 Corinthians 5:17.) To put your trust in Jesus, simply ask Him to forgive your sins and invite Him into your heart. Give your entire life into His care! Are you ready to know Jesus in a personal way and accept Him as Savior? "

Then pray a prayer of faith outloud "Lord Jesus,
I know You died for my sins. I believe it with all my heart and today I put my trust in You. Forgive my sins, wash me clean in Your precious blood. I give my life to You. I give You my dreams, my hopes, failures, and pain. I place my life into Your hands. Make me a brand-new person as You have promised, and in return I promise to follow You with my whole heart.
In Your Name I pray, amen."

We pray everyday and read the Bible,
we also

Prayer is
beautiful & powerful

A beautiful & powerful prayer is a very important one given to us by the Lord Jesus himself in the Bible.

The Lord's Prayer is from Matthew
6:9-13 KJV

as instructed by the Lord Jesus

After this manner therefore pray ye:

"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen".

We talk to the our Heavenly Father daily , we thank him and praise him and remind him how we love him.
We leave all /any of our fears and worries at the feet of the Lord Jesus.
We pray the scripture back in prayer to God, we apply it to our situation and we pray in Jesus' name , we stand on it in faith that the Lord will work things out in his perfect timing ( because of the Lord Jesus & because that is what the Bible says ) and we believe for it because now we invited him to take over the situation. (HE is now intervening and working things out for HIS good purposes. )
We stand in faith and praise the Lord.

We can pray about it everyday , not worrying about it anymore because now HE is now intervening and so we can stand in faith that it's in his hands and we continue to praise the Lord.

We also want to confess our sins to the Lord daily in prayer and ask for his forgiveness, but we need to work toward changing any sinful habits that we might have done before we were saved. Or we need to consider we might not been saved. Only Holy Spirit can transform your heart and convict you of any sin, only God knows your heart.

So We resist sin and we work at walking out a righteous life daily.

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. " James 5:16 NIV Ephesians 6:10-20 "The Armor of God10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I ( Apostle Paul) may declare it fearlessly, as I should."

Another important reminder to pray for all of God's people and those in authority that we may live peaceful lives.

See a helpful example below

1st Timothy 2 :1-2 NIV

Heavenly Father, your word says
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." so Father we do pray for all God's people and for those in authority at every level that we would better follow you to live in peaceful quiet lives in Holiness & Godliness. We ask only for your will to be done. We thank you Lord, we stand in faith in agreement knowing that you are overseeing the situation, thank you Father, Thank you Holy Spirit and I thank you Lord Jesus in Jesus' name. Amen

Romans8 :28-38
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
